The abstract should be submitted in Microsoft Word initially , then PDF for final version and
up to one single A4 page long.The main text, like the author names should use Times New
Roman font, 14 point for the Author names and 12 point for the remainder of the abstract.
Paragraphs are justified (straight-edged) on both left and right. Use single-line spacing and
leave a line gap between paragraphs. Authors will be advised of the status of their abstracts
by the 15 February 2020

Conference Objectives
The 2020 Zimbabwe Mineral Resources Conference and associated field trips will:-
• Highlight the exploration and mining potential in the country.
• Bring together geologists working in research, exploration
projects and operational mines to share ideas for more
effective exploration.
• Foster the interest of young geologists.

Oral & Poster Presentations
Twenty minutes will be allowed for each oral presentation including five minutes for questions
and discussion.
Posters can cover any subject on geology, mining or exploration and be up to AO in size.
